This policy explains how Belliney's Ristorante & Bar ("Belliney's", "we", "us"), operated by Top Ryde Italian Pty Ltd, handles your personal information when you use our website at bellineys.com.au, order online, use the Belliney's app, join Belliney's Rewards or send us a booking or enquiry. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, mobile number and email address.
- Orders: what you order, when, the total, any discount code or rewards used, and order notes.
- Delivery address: only if you choose delivery, plus any notes for the driver.
- Bookings and enquiries: what you tell us in a reservation, birthday, private event or contact form.
- Rewards: your Belliney's Rewards points balance and history, linked to your mobile number.
- Marketing choice: whether you ticked the box to receive offers.
- Website use: pages visited, device and browser information, collected by cookies and similar tools (see below).
Card details: payments are processed by Square. Your card number goes straight to Square and is never seen or stored by Belliney's. We only receive a payment reference, the card type and the last four digits.
Why we use it
- To prepare your order, take payment, send your confirmation and receipt, and contact you about your order.
- To arrange delivery when you choose it.
- To add and redeem Belliney's Rewards points.
- To reply to bookings and enquiries.
- To send offers by email or SMS, only if you agreed. Every message has a way to opt out.
- To understand how our website is used and measure our advertising.
- To meet our legal obligations, such as tax records.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run Belliney's, and only what they need:

Some of these services store information outside Australia, including in the United States. They are required to protect it. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
The Belliney's app and your phone
The app and our website save your name, mobile, email and recent orders on your own phone, so your next order is faster and you can reorder. This stays on your device. To remove it, use Sign out on this phone in the app's Account screen, or delete the app or your browser data.
If you allow notifications, we use them to tell you about your order, such as when it's ready. You can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar tools from Google and Meta to count visits and measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Online ordering still works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as Australian tax law requires (generally five years). We keep other information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, then delete it or make it anonymous.
Keeping it safe
All our pages use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Payments are handled by Square, which is certified to the payment card industry's security standard (PCI DSS). Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.
Your choices and rights
- You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you.
- You can ask us to stop sending offers at any time, using the opt-out link or by contacting us.
- You can ask us to delete your information. We'll do so unless we have to keep it by law.
